On the 1st of January, new laws were introduced in France banning luxury houses and their providers from destroying finished products. It means that leather which has developed and not used could not be thrown away anymore. We’ve been working since a few seasons with a young circular economy start-up dedicated to finding new destinations for these unused high-end leathers.

Selected with care, this leather comes from French luxury tanneries that are our usual providers. Using such upcycled leather allows us to lower the environmental impact of our object’s main material by 98%.
Our objects being then locally crafted in our workshop in Paris, their impact is as low as possible.
