the wig, or wig work, describes the act of a craftsman designing and producing objects at his workplace, with the tools and materials made available by his employer, for his personal use.
objects made in wigs, often unique, sometimes surprising, exist outside the traditional commercial framework, and are the opportunity for the craftsman to abstract himself from his hierarchy, creations imposed by his employer to finally regain control of his knowledge -do in complete freedom.

Whether they are tools intended to assist the craftsman in his profession, a souvenir brought back from the workplace, a gift offered to a loved one, or even an object intended for sale on the black market, these objects, which are sometimes real works of popular art, carry within them a very particular poetry.
