Cross-Hatched Calf

This season, our objects are available in a material entirely new to us: embossed calfskin, which we offer in camel and taupe.

This leather features a regular grain with a geometric pattern, heat-embossed onto a previously pigmented hide. This process provides it with excellent structure and a high resistance to scratches, moisture, and stains.

Every luxury house has developed its own version of this leather, each with an exclusive signature grain. Ours comes from the Haas tannery in Alsace and is sourced from the deadstock of a major house.

Unlike our vegetable-tanned leathers, this full-grain calfskin offers an approach to durability rooted in a certain immutability: it will not develop a patina, but will retain its original structure and color throughout its life.
