Vegetable tanned calf leather<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

for the third season running, we’re delighted to present a selection of our items made from italian ingrassato vegetable-tanned calf leather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

the special hand of this leather allows our craftsmen to go even further in their quest for purity: objects made from vegetable-tanned calfskin don’t need lining or reinforcement, and their edges are burnished and waxed with beeswax rather than painted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

this italian vegetable-tanned leather is named ingrassato because it is a natural-looking leather nourished by oils and waxes. It’s these oils, in particular, that give the leather its distinctive soft touch, generally known by French leather specialists as toucher bougie (candle touch).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

For the first time, our half-zip wallet and flap bag join this collection. They too have been assembled in our parisian workshop with a contrasting off-white thread, a nod to the equestrian origins of our craft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
